Flinders Ranges Photography Workshop

Immerse yourself in a 5-day four-night outback photography adventure on a remote cattle and sheep Station. Skytrek Willow Springs Station is a 70 acre working sheep station which will be our base as we explore the iconic Flinders Ranges. Willow Springs offers solitude, remoteness, and some of the most stunning panoramic Photography opportunities you simply won’t find elsewhere. Centrally located Willow Springs is the ideal outback base to explore the Flinders Ranges.

Workshop Highlights

• Photograph famous Bunyeroo valley via Razorback lookout.

• Discover Astrophotography photographing stars and milky way – yes, the moon will not be around.

• Visit iconic Prairie Hotel Parachilna

• Capture the stunning warm colours and salmon sky at sunset from Stokes Hill Lookout

• Go back in time at Appealina Ruins

• Travel the 7-hour 4WD adventure Skytrek around Willow Springs property

• Visit picturesque gorges

• Photograph Kangaroos, Emus, Lizards, Hawks and other native animals

• Rich red earth and dark blue navy skies presents a photography paradise

   Your itinerary

Day 1

Collection from Adelaide airport

Drive in our Airconditioned Toyota Prado 4WD

Night photography if conditions prevail.

Day 2

All day 4WD Photographic adventure around the station – Moxmans hut, Ancient seabed, Pinnacle Range Lookout, Old Shepherds hut, Ochre Cliffs, Nathan’s Knob Lookout, Prominent Hill lookout, Upalinna Lookout.

Night photography if conditions prevail.

Day 3 & Day 4

We visit the iconic Flinders Ranges spots including Gorges, Bunyeroo Valley, Razorback lookout, Blinman, Prairie Hotel Parachilna, Ruins. Capture those epic aerial images via a light aircraft ride.

Day 5

Return to Port Augusta
